About CurrentAnesthesia

Making anaesthesia research easier to follow.

Every week, anaesthesia journals publish more new studies than anyone in practice or research can read. The results that matter are spread across many journals and are easily missed or found late.

CurrentAnesthesia exists to give a structured, clinically relevant overview of that research as it appears — always tied to the original publication.

How CurrentAnesthesia works

  1. Leading journals

CurrentAnesthesia follows 35 anaesthesia and general medical journals, with new research added throughout the week.

    View journals
  2. Clinical relevance

Each new study is screened against predefined criteria for its relevance to anaesthesia; what falls outside them is set aside.

  3. Structured Briefs

Each eligible study is written up by AI in one fixed structure from its published abstract, checked against that abstract, and linked to the original article.

  4. Weekly curation

Each week the studies most worth reading are selected, three of them Featured, and published on Monday.
