Advanced Hemodynamic Monitoring During Postresuscitation Care After Out‐of‐Hospital Cardiac Arrest: Protocol for a Scoping Review

Acta Anaesthesiol ScandPublished Protocol for a scoping review

Study context

Population
Adults (≥ 18 years) hospitalised after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) with sustained return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), early postresuscitation care (< 72 h after ROSC)
Methodological detailsduplicate independent screening and extraction, descriptive synthesis, MEDLINE (via PubMed) searched from inception to 31 January 2026, Eligible: studies of predefined advanced hemodynamic parameters (invasive or non-invasive) beyond arterial pressure monitoring; no restrictions on comparators, year, language, setting or publication type, Excluded: animal, pediatric, simulation, intra-arrest-only, microcirculatory/local perfusion and echocardiography-only studies
